Frequently asked

The questions that come in before a scoping call

Catalogue-wide answers, including the ones with an uncomfortable answer. Each course page carries its own course-specific set on top of these.

  • 01

What does a workshop actually produce?

A named artefact built during the session for a case the participants bring in: a scored readiness baseline, a governance checklist, a pilot brief, a business case or a roadmap, depending on the course. Not a slide deck to interpret afterwards, and not a report delivered weeks later. Each course page states its own output in the first screen.

  • 02

How is a workshop different from capacity building?

A workshop is a leadership-level decision exercise: what to do, in what order, and how to govern it. Capacity building is workforce execution skill: giving staff the practical competence to carry out whatever direction leadership sets. They are two separate investments and are sold as two, because collapsing them into generic AI training is the most common way an AI budget produces nothing. The how-to-choose page sets out the distinction alongside consulting.

  • 03

    Do participants need technical knowledge?

No. No course in the catalogue requires prior technical knowledge, coding or data-science background. Every framework works through questions a business, operations or compliance leader can answer. What each course does require is one real case brought into the room: a use case, a workflow, a process or a decision the participant actually owns.

  • 04

    What does it cost?

Fees are quoted on enquiry today and are being published course by course. Every course and integrated programme is available both as an open-cohort seat and as a fixed-fee corporate in-house session for one organisation. Organisations sending people through more than one course, or through a course and its integrated programme, get a combined rate rather than separate bookings.

  • 05

Is any of it funded or claimable?

Partly. WSQ (Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications) and HRD Corp claimable apply to Capacity Building engagements where the curriculum and delivery fit their requirements. Open-cohort seats and integrated programmes are quoted unfunded today: Praxora Lab is a practice founded in 2026 and is not yet accredited under SSG course-fee funding, SkillsFuture Credit or IBF-STS. The full position, including the schemes we are not on, is set out on the funding page.

  • 06

    When do the courses run?

No open-cohort dates are confirmed yet. Every course and integrated programme runs today as a corporate in-house session scheduled around your organisation, and open cohorts are added to the schedule on the workshops page as they are confirmed. Joining the interest list for a course tells us there is demand for a public cohort and gets you told first when one is set.

  • 07

Can a course run in-house for our own team?

Yes, and that is how most of the catalogue is currently delivered. Corporate in-house means a dedicated session for one organisation, scheduled around you, run on your own cases rather than a mixed cohort's. Every course and every integrated programme is available this way.

  • 08

    Is a certificate issued?

A Certificate of Completion from Praxora Lab is issued for each half-day course and integrated programme. It is a record of attendance and participation, not an accreditation, a qualification or a licence, and it is described that way deliberately. The artefact you build during the session is the more useful thing you leave with.

  • 09

    Who leads the sessions?

Each course is built and led by the named practitioner whose own credentials, delivery record or published work stand behind it, not by a generalist facilitator working from someone else's material. Every facilitator has a full profile on the site listing their track record, and an integrated programme is led by the same practitioners who lead its component courses.

  • 10

    How large is a cohort?

Between 16 and 30 depending on the course, and the cap is stated on every course page. The caps are set by how much individual attention the session's output requires rather than by room size: a course that ends with each participant holding a finished artefact cannot be run at scale.

  • 11

Is there a discount for sending more than one person, or booking more than one course?

Yes. Organisations sending leadership through more than one course, or through a course and its integrated programme, get a combined rate rather than separate bookings. See the corporate and bulk enrolment section on the workshops page, or raise it directly in your enquiry.

  • 12

What if I need to cancel, defer or a session is rescheduled?

Full terms for individual, open-cohort and corporate in-house bookings, including deferral windows and what happens if Praxora Lab cancels a session, are set out in the refund and cancellation policy.

  • 13

What happens after the session ends?

Every cohort joins a standing network of practitioners and business leaders: ongoing networking events, fireside chats, and case study interviews with business owners and C-suite leaders on AI projects they've recently completed. The named facilitator also stays the point of contact for questions on applying what was covered.

Ask directly

Anything not covered above reaches us through the enquiry form, and an unusual question is more welcome than a question forced into the nearest category.

Before you go

I read a share of what comes through this form myself, particularly the enquiries that do not fit neatly into a workshop, a consulting track or a speaking engagement. The catalogue now runs to twelve courses, three integrated programmes and a capacity-building track, and a longer list makes it easier, not harder, to pick the wrong one. If your organisation has a genuinely unusual AI governance question, the kind that does not map cleanly onto anything in the list, say so directly rather than picking the closest category. I would rather have a slightly awkward first conversation than sell you a session built for a different problem.
