Conformance target
This site is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the design and build standard recorded in the project's design system, and the standard every template is built against, not yet a verified third-party audit result.
What we've built in
Measures already in place across the site, not aspirational:
- Semantic HTML throughout: real heading levels, landmark regions, and list markup rather than styled
divs standing in for structure. - Every navigation control, enquiry link and menu toggle is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus state.
- Descriptive alt text on every image that conveys information; decorative images (panel dividers, background photography) are marked so a screen reader skips them.
- A colour palette chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios for body text against its background, both for the cream/maroon ground and the inverse maroon sections.
- Text that resizes and reflows with the browser's own zoom and font-size controls, rather than being fixed to a pixel layout.
Known limitations
This has not yet had a formal, independent accessibility audit, automated or manual. Three specific gaps we know about rather than gloss over: the downloadable speaker-kit PDFs are generated from the same page templates but haven't been individually checked for screen-reader tag order; long data tables (for example the workshop comparison table) have not yet had dedicated screen-reader testing beyond the semantic markup they're built with; and the rotating globe on the home page continues to animate for visitors who have asked their system to reduce motion, which is the one deliberate exception to the motion handling everywhere else on the site and is under review.
Fixed after review
Barriers found and corrected, recorded here rather than quietly closed. On 8 September 2026 a site-wide review found that native form controls followed the operating system's colour scheme rather than the site's, so a visitor using a dark-mode device to view the site in light mode saw every unselected radio button render as a filled dark circle: on the readiness self-assessment, the two quizzes and the personality test, every option looked as though it had already been chosen. The site now binds its colour scheme to the theme actually rendering, and form controls match the page in both themes and under the manual theme toggle.

We aim to acknowledge every report within 2 business days and to fix a confirmed barrier within 30 days, or tell you a realistic timeline if it needs longer.

- The conformance level actually achieved, verified by automated testing on every template.
- Manual keyboard and screen reader testing results on the home, speaker, workshop and section landing templates.
- The date of the last assessment.
