Scope
This policy covers personal data collected through praxoralab.com and through the enquiry channels linked from it: the enquiry form reached from every "Enquire about a workshop", "Enquire about a speaker" and equivalent link, and the mailbox that form delivers to. It does not cover data handled inside a workshop itself, for example a participant's own business data used during a readiness assessment, which is governed by the separate engagement terms agreed for that session.
What personal data we collect
This site does not operate an account system, but it does collect personal data directly in
two places. The enquiry form submits the fields you fill
in directly to our enquiry mailbox and does not persist your details anywhere else. The "New
Insights by email" newsletter signup, shown on the homepage and elsewhere, collects only the
email address you submit, to add you to our mailing list. A blank, hidden field on both forms
exists only to catch automated spam submissions, not to collect anything from a real visitor.
Every "Enquire" link that doesn't route to the form is a plain mailto: link
instead, which opens your own email application and sends nothing to us until you choose to
send that email.
The personal data we hold is therefore limited to what you submit through the enquiry form, the newsletter signup, or include when you email us, typically:
- Your name and email address, from an enquiry, or just your email address, from a newsletter signup.
- Your organisation, job title, or role, where you choose to include it in an enquiry.
- The content of your enquiry, for example which workshop or speaker you're asking about, and any scheduling or budget details you volunteer.
We also receive standard technical data automatically logged by our website hosting provider for any visitor, for example IP address, browser type and pages requested. This is server access logging, used only for security and site reliability, not for tracking individuals. See the Cookie policy for how this differs from cookies.
How we use it
We use the personal data in an enquiry email solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry about a workshop, speaking engagement, or general question.
- Administer a booking you go on to confirm, including scheduling and invoicing correspondence.
- Keep an internal record of the enquiry for our own follow-up, consistent with the retention period below.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except a service provider directly needed to deliver a confirmed booking (for example, a venue or payment processor), and then only the details that provider needs.
Marketing communications
Praxora Lab runs one mailing list, "New Insights by email": a short note roughly monthly when a new Insights article publishes. You join it only by submitting your email address directly through that signup form, never on the strength of an enquiry alone, and every message includes an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately. You can also ask to be removed at any time through the enquiry form.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently set any non-essential cookies or run third-party analytics. The full, current position, and what changes if that's introduced, is set out in the Cookie policy.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence, and any personal data within it, for 24 months from your last contact with us. After that period it is deleted from our active systems, unless we're required to keep specific records for longer to meet a legal, accounting or contractual obligation, for example invoicing records tied to a confirmed workshop booking.
Where your data is stored, and security
A submission through the enquiry form is relayed, in transit only, through our transactional email provider (Resend) to deliver it to us; that provider does not retain a copy for its own use and acts solely as a delivery processor on our instructions. Once delivered, enquiry emails, whether sent through the form or directly, are stored in Praxora Lab's business email account, hosted by our email provider. We apply standard account-level security controls, including restricted access and multi-factor authentication, and we do not export enquiry data to any other system beyond what's needed to administer a booking.
A newsletter signup is sent to Resend and added to a Resend Audience, a mailing list used solely to send New Insights by email; Resend does not use your email address for any other purpose, and it is removed from that list immediately if you unsubscribe.
Your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012
You can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and access a copy of it.
- Correct any of it that's inaccurate or out of date.
- Withdraw any consent you've given us, including for marketing, at any time.
- Delete personal data we no longer have a legal basis to keep.
Send a request to our Data Protection Officer below. We aim to acknowledge every request within 5 business days and to resolve it within 30 days, consistent with the Act.

Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if how we collect or use personal data changes, for example if we introduce a web form or analytics. The date this policy was last updated is shown at the top of this page.
