How we are paid
This page states the commercial arrangement plainly, here, before any application or problem submission is completed, rather than leaving it to be discovered afterward.
The commercial arrangement
Participants pay, and the contributing organisation pays too
Participants pay to work on problems through Praxora Lab. Where a partner organisation contributes a problem for scoped delivery, that organisation also pays. Praxora Lab may receive payment from both sides of the same engagement. That is disclosed here, and again before any application or problem submission is completed.
The two payments are not the same purchase. The partner is paying for a supervised outcome and access to a cohort's time. The participant is paying for supervised access to a real problem and a mentor's review. Neither substitutes for the other, and stating both plainly is the purpose of this page.
Who does the work
Supervised participants, not employed consultants
Work on a partner's problem is performed by supervised participants, not by employed consultants. A practitioner mentor reviews the cohort's work against a stated quality gate and is accountable for what the cohort produces before it reaches the partner.
