AI & Robotics on the Factory Floor

A 3.5-hour session for operations, plant and warehouse leaders scoping AI or robotics on their own shop floor. Facilitated by Veronica Loh, drawing on delivered systems from Orion Five Engineering.

Duration

3.5 hours, single session

Format

In-person, on site or at a Praxora Lab venue

Cohort size

Max 20 participants

Requires

One real shop-floor or warehouse process to assess

Facilitator

Veronica Loh

Delivered systems

Vision QC, robotics, RFID, IoT

CPD / CPE hours

4 CPD hours

Certificate

Certificate of Completion, Praxora Lab

What you leave able to do

  1. Score a shop-floor or warehouse process for AI or robotics feasibility before committing budget.
  2. Work through real, delivered systems, vision QC, EDG-funded robotics, RFID asset tracking, as worked cases.
  3. Scope a bounded pilot for the room's own process: data available, failure modes, integration points.
  4. Check the pilot against what EDG-funded delivery actually requires, not what a grant application assumes.
  5. Leave with a 90-day pilot roadmap for one real process.

Who should attend

  • Plant, operations and warehouse leaders scoping their first AI or robotics pilot.
  • SME owners weighing an Enterprise Development Grant application.
  • Engineering and ops managers who need a feasibility case before a vendor conversation.
